Luxury coach at Northam

The Morwenna Coach-building Company is a thriving new industry which has been started by three partners at the former haulage yard adjoining ‘Trelawney’ on the Lower Appledore Road, Northam.

The three partners in this new enterprise are Mr C.D. Davies, formerly a foreman coachbuilder with Western National and Mr L. Ball, also formerly employed by that firm as a body builder, and Mr S. Gorrell.

Pictured are the three partners with two of the staff standing in front of the 20-seater luxury coach that has been completely re-modelled and rebuilt right up from the chassis in twelve weeks for Mr C.G. Yeo of Morthoe.
